Another great store.
Everything from design inspiration to kitting out your whole home.
This place really does have everything and at great prices.
There were plenty of staff around and those I did speak with were very helpful and knowledgeable.
There is a huge car park, the restaurant is big too and yes, the food was yum!
Restrooms clean also.

I visited IKEA reading branch today 11/11/2024, I was extremely disappointed with some aspects of the service. It was not busy yet I had to wit in a long queue in the dining area as only one person serving. The cutlery was not replenished. Most of the empty tables were dirty and the food was luke warm. The gents toilets on the ground floor was not in use for the whole time I was in the store. S I have restricted mobility, this was extremely inconvenient. See photos

IKEA Reading is a massive building with a very interesting approach to sales. However, I found it somewhat frustrating that the layout feels like a maze. It’s difficult to navigate and figure out where things are, especially on your first visit. It takes some time to get used to the setup and find what you’re looking for.

The IKEA store in Reading is an enormous, well-organized space that truly feels like a one-stop solution for all home needs. As soon as you step in, you're greeted by an impressive range of furniture, covering everything from bedroom essentials to living room accents. The sheer size of the store is remarkable, making it easy to spend an entire day exploring all the sections. Each area is thoughtfully designed, giving you ideas and inspiration for your own space.

One of the highlights is their in-store restaurant, a convenient spot to take a break and grab a bite while shopping. This added feature makes the experience even more enjoyable, especially during a long visit.

The staff at IKEA Reading are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable, ready to help with any queries. When I needed a mattress topper, a staff member quickly assisted me, making the search hassle-free. The store also features self-help kiosks, which are extremely helpful for locating specific items independently.

Overall, IKEA Reading combines variety, convenience, and great customer service, making it an ideal destination for anyone looking to furnish their home. Highly recommended for a full day of shopping!

Resturant at this Ikea branch is a joke, one person serving on each kitchen waiting for more than 30 minutes to get served. Worst Ikea resturant I been to. This is the 2nd time as the first time they ran out of food or could not be bothered to cook more.

Visited early February 2024. Love the restaurant it has a lovely feel and had salmon which tasted a bit tainted but the pearl barley was amazing! Went round the downstairs area but couldn't find the plates we wanted because everything is being re-organised. Eventually staff told us they were in the warehouse so had to go round all over again after paying. They did a spot check at self service both times so avoid self-service if you're in a hurry. Otherwise love this shop especially their displays!

We were served meals that were only lukewarm warm. Only 1 person on till while 3 of the staff leaned against the counter laughing and because it took so long the meals were lukewarm warm or the food was not hot enough in the first place, dirty tables, what a shame IKEA has dropped its standards, you should sack the manage and get a new one, but soon the the ceo will know what’s happening at ikea reading
