We have drought conditions in Texas. Most watering holes are dry. This place is still good for a short hike or picnic.

Pretty cool. I can see the potential. But our visit must have been the peak of drought season because riverbed leading to the well was bone dry.

It's a nice spot to have a picnic if you live around but not really worth a long drive.

Been trying to go see Jacobs well for many years! We went today. The weather was amazing. It was a great day for a hike it's a quick walk down and worth it! The water is low but expected in off-season. It's still amazing to see in person!

Went here several years back and was absolutely amazed at how stunning this well was! Learned about the caves down at the bottom which was very interesting. Scary to swim over the whole at first but you get over it pretty quick! Sadly, I know the water is very low now after this past historic drought but hopefully it comes back to being the natural spring wonder it was! Highly recommend, reservations required.

This was a nice park to walk around and the well is a sight. I recommend listening to the self guide to get just how deep it is since it is visually deceptive. You can do lots of walking and hit several levels to view the well.

It is free to get in the park. If there is a tour I would recommend that you go so you can hear the details of the area and ask questions. Not much to see because there is a drought but Jacob’s well is amazing.

It was fun going to Jacobs Well. We went to it after the most recent rain storm. It needs more water, but it’ll fill up some day. It was nice walking around. The employees are nice.
