This is a low key memorial to the local people who lost their lives on the ground in the Pan Am 103 tragedy. This is the location where debris from the plane took their lives; the main memorial to all victims is elsewhere, so many pictures posted in reviews are of a completely different place.

I personally think that a proper pathway to the memorial stone & plaque would be an improvement, without footfall churning the grass. And maybe an extra bench? It was my first time visiting Lockerbie (for work) and it was good to come here and pay my respects.

A beautiful memorial garden to remember the local victims. Noted as the crash site. Visit the cemetery for the commemoration and remembrance garden for the victims on the flight and local. RIP Lockerbie 💔

My father was a fire fighter and was one of the first attendees to this terrible terrorist attack. The Memorial is a nice peaceful place. Where we can pay respect to some of the innocent people killed in this awfull atrocitie.
