Back in my childhood holiday place for a few days with my daughter. We had a great time. The fish n chips at Marcie's are bang on, definitely recommend it. Then a game of pirate golf. You just can't beat mablethorpe.

A real quirky little seaside village . Beautiful long golden beach . Extremely clean . There's a few attractions a park, skate park , mini karts and adventure golf. Few fairground rides and food stalls along the sea front.

Go when the tide is out and the sand area is vast. It was a very long good walk for everyone. Please note No dogs May to September. Car parking is £3 all day. The toilets, however, are 40p on your credit card. Or go in when someone is leaving as the turnstiles will be open for them or follow someone else in quickly. 40p to pee. Not the best condition for toilets, so absolutely no idea what they are spending all that vast money on. Great fish and chips are always from the seaside, but again, they know how to charge. £8:50 for one piece of fish. Our local chippy is £7:30 for F&C with mushy peas. The main A52 coastal road is an absolute nightmare. I've never seen or avoided so many potholes. To and from Skegness north and south. (We didn't venture out tea or evening time. We were back at the cabin. But by all accounts, tea, and evening times, Skegness becomes a haven for immigrants who are stationed in the local caravan parks. We got chatting with a lovely couple who travelled from Salford and seriously wishing they had read the caravan site reviews. Around 6 pm onwards, the immigrants vacate the static and and a lot more than each could sleep descend on Skegness. Roll back in the early hours, making that much noise 😴 everyone was peeved by them, and the immigrants sleep all day then back terrorising the locals next tea time. It absolutely ruined the couple from Salford time. They said after 3 nights they are travelling back home. Felt so sorry for them. They went back into Skegness for some rock for their grandchildren. Their car is ready for their journey. Britain is no longer British .

Nice place to visit
Several charity shops and the usual seaside arcades and rock shop with gifts
Very good chip shop just before you reach the beach
Lovely beach. Good for a day trip but wouldn't find enough to do for a week but I suppose if you have young children it's ideal

Pleasantly pleased with my first visit here. Really nice beach with golden sands. Dog free on beach as well. Plenty of places to eat and drink on the beach front. Great little fun fair for kids with casinos and amusements on the high street with again lots of places to eat. Overall really enjoyed and will definitely visit again.

Absolutely jem. mablethorpe is my new favourite seaside. Lovely beach..plenty for kids but can go 5 mins up away from everything.
