Was there to unload ingredients. Staff were brilliant and really friendly and quick. A tad tricky to get to due to single track road as you wouldn't like to meet another lorry on your way in and out but that's were Google maps come in. Search it and use street view, and if you pick the easier way in with passing places, it should be on your right hand side when approaching. I hope it helps someone just like me driving a lorry.

The most delicious ice cream on the market! Fortunately I am able to buy it here, where I live in Cornwall - mid way between Land’s End and The Lizard. The last time I visited Westies was 60 years ago.

Their vanilla ice cream is very watered down these days - more like a sorbet than proper ice cream. At the price they charge for a litre I won't be buying it again - even supermarket own brand ice cream is far superior. Very disappointed, it's really gone down hill. There comes a point where you cheapen the ingredients so much that you destroy your brand reputation, and then the company is finished. If they water it down any more it will be little more than frozen coloured water. Reputation and quality is everything - is it really worth throwing that away?

The way this company treats the new workers is absolutely shocking. I will not be buying from this company and I've also asked friends and family not to buy any mackies product. It might not mean much to mackies of scotland but people talk and this company likes to promote it has a well respected reputation. Keep screwing your staff and that reputation will be destroyed.

We love Mackie's ice cream and it's definitely worth the price, only a step below Dans Haag but excellent no the less.. (been to the farm near Inverurie and Oldmeldrum too, think of that visit everytime I buy it here all the way down in London 👍)

I've been a fan of Mackies icecream for years. Most of the flavours are almost impossible to get hold of, so I usually buy the vanilla, and the Honeycomb if I can find it. The Honeycomb has always been my favourite, However, I bought a tub the other day and to my dissapointment found that Mackies have changed the recipe. Formerly it was a caramel colour run through with specks of toffee/honeycomb. Really delicious. The tub I have now is more like vanilla with a few bits of pale-ish honeycomb/toffee in it. Nowhere near as good as the original. I won't be buying this again. Why on earth do they have to mess about with what was an excellent product. These' improvements' never are.
