Been coming here since I was very small…. One of best and friendliest hi-fi shops around. Mr Forest always helps me with my purchases and his knowledge is amazing, and great customer service… latest purchase, a gold note phono stage! Fantastic as always, thanks!

Have also purchased recently the Quad Artera Stereo and the Quad Artera Pre…. What an amazing combination, Marcus and Jack allowed me to try the system out with my Rubicon 2’s and was pleasantly surprised! Great store and all the staff are really helpful and always love to visit!

I visited Martins Hi-Fi earlier today, what a showroom, it was like being a kid in a sweet shop!
I have a viewing booked to listen to some REL T7's in the listening room. I was met by Ian, who makes a lovely cuppa, nice one Ian!
My meeting was with Steve Forrest, i have to say, what this person doesn't know, probably isn't worth knowing! I sat in the listening room for around an hour, listening to music, and discussing various music related topics.
I have come away a very happy bunny, and know I need to part with some cash on these beautiful sounding pieces of audio equipment. Nice on Ian & Steve, will look forward to seeing you both in the not too distant!

Exceptional service from Jack and everyone at Martins. These guys know their stuff and are not merely "box shifters". They are also clearly music fans.

Their home demo service is second to none, and allowed us to find some lovely Spendor Classic 4/5s to suit our small living room, which could present too much bass with some other speakers we tried.

We also purchased the dedicated Spendor stands and a Solidsteel VL-3 rack.

Will definitely use Martins again for future purchases. Can't really fault them.

If your looking for quality in audio, this is the place for you. I was a bit overwhelmed by how neatly the shopped looked inside it felt I was in a high end studio.

From the get go all of them welcomed me in, they made me feel very comfortable and shared my passion for music.

Then one of the employees Jack took me into this prestige audio room with crystal clear “KEF LS50”.

Recommended by a friend of a friend - I wouldn’t normally use a third party to install kit. But I’m SO glad I did, on this occasion. Had an initial visit by Marcus followed by email suggestions and pics appropriate for my budget. Chose Sonos surround sound systems for two rooms and a giant telly. All Alexa activated. They even price-matched a local retailer for some of the elements. Service top class, knowledgeable, explained the geeky bits in my language. Installation done by a great team over a couple of days; many thanks to Richard, Kevin and Alex - you were all brilliant and jolly nice chaps too!
