We finally moved home at the end of March 2025. Due to difficulty selling our London home, the attempted move spanned 2 years. It is no surprise that Vicky has been promoted to Branch Manager at McCarthy Holden. She showed us around several properties and was very focused on our needs throughout the whole process. We asked 3 estate agents to value our family home of 20 years, which was not a straightforward task due to its high price bracket and individuality. From the outset, we very much appreciated the fact that Richard listened to us and what we wanted, rather than it being the other way round! We respected his calm and honest manner - he didn't try to impress with fancy sales patter. Amalia handled our viewings and was always totally professional; we felt that we could completely trust her to show the full potential of our property to buyers. We were selling in a particularly turbulent market; Richard was realistic throughout and maintained a consistent approach. We received a number of competitive offers, which were handled in McCarthy Holden's reliably measured style and on acceptance, they did an excellent job of managing everyone's expectations to get us over the finish line. There is a general assumption now that Right Move sells a property and it doesn't matter anymore who you market it with; we would strongly disagree with this for all the reasons above and cannot recommend McCarthy Holden highly enough.
