I took my aging laptop to MMC who undertook a full assessment of its potential to upgrade to Windows 10. They took time to talk me through all the potential problems I could face and did not press me to make a decision quickly. I opten to leave the machine in their hands and was super-chuffed when they upgraded my laptop with no issues. I really appreciated their professional, friendly and considered approach. I would totally recommend MMC.

No direct contact with this company but being in the trade myself I regularly hear reports about them. I don't want this to sound like rotten eggs or jealousy but all comments I hear have one common theme: OVERCHARGING. Whilst they may do a good job and Apple specific parts can be more expensive than PC parts my advice would be to get a second opinion on any job where you are quoted more than £100 labour.

Cowboys. These guys have managed to put my Dad off ever owning a computer again.

My Dad part exchanged his old mac laptop for a second hand MacbookPro from these guys about a year ago.

My Dad isn't very computer savvy and they ripped him off. Selling him a 'recent' macbook pro that was actually over 3 years old for a lot more than it was worth and I've been fixing issues with it ever since he bought it.

They didn't migrate over his data properly and it took three visits to even get it all fully transferred. Somehow whilst transferring the 3000 photos across they managed to increase this number to 16000 photos which consisted of every preview, modified photo and thumbnail ever created, with all of them being randomly renamed with numbers, no metadata and in no particular order... (was that a late night session with some data recovery software by any chance? 🙂 Thanks Media Monkeys... My Dad and I have been trying to sort them out ever since.

I've also just discovered the ram has been downgraded to half as much as it comes with as standard.... I'm not saying Media Makers did this, but if they didn't do this, they didn't point it out.

The other day my Dad presented me with the laptop and said... "Please take it away.. I don't want a computer anymore it's too much hassle...."
