The evening that follows over drinks & food also gives some networking opportunities with like minded business owners which I found to be invaluable. We’ve had some interest from various prospects thanks to MKLINK.

Me and Mike spoke briefly on the phone - the next thing my colleague was presenting to maybe thirty five prospects at a conference in Leeds.

It’s early days yet but we’ve got some interest from some leads and so far we’re happy – why wouldn’t we be? This was entirely out of the blue and completely free for us.

Mike from MKLINK put me in front of his membership group to present. I was a little sceptical at first because this was offered for free and the prospect opportunities were clearly visible.

However, having done a talk for nearly 40 potential clients, I can see the value now – especially as it didn’t cost me anything!

We have been working with MK Link for about 10 years now, Mike is not your average marketing guy, and I say that in a very positive way!

He really knows his stuff with marketing, his advice is very practical, he is a great marketing guy with none of the marketing bull!

The MSP group is primarily based on marketing and the news articles he writes, but there is so much more to it than that.

Mike arranges regular meetups for members around the country, he always gets really good people to speak, hard sell is absolutely forbidden and the cost of the events is unbelievably low!

The members are a really friendly helpful bunch who are always happy to share knowledge and experiences. Being able to ask opinions from other MSP owners saves so much time and money when exploring new vendors and tech – if you are an MSP owner who never really networked with other MSPs you are missing a trick – which brings me onto the last point - the Whats App group!

This very active group alone is worth the membership cost – you can get honest info on vendors and tech as you can at the meetups, but in addition, if you are struggling with a technical problem, you reach out to the group and usually within minutes you have a bunch of responses which almost always point you in the right direction to solve the problem.

If you need specialist knowledge that you don’t have, I have lost count of the times when other members have given their time, free of charge, to help us out, and vice versa.
