Nice people but let down by the ridiculous requirement to pay customs charges by sticking stamps on a postcard. Try to make it to the 20th Century, guys.

Moreton post office is normally good but not this time. Got bags for coins from a lovely lady clearly explained how to pack them. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough bronze coins to make a pound so a lady called Laura had to count them. She was quite rude to me and clearly irritated. There was no one in the post office apart from me and within her working hours she has to complete her job and be nicer to customers! She looked quite unhappy doing her job so maybe should stay away from working in customer service.

Called in on Bank Holiday. Post office supposed to be open. Only had one parcel to scan. Woman refused to take it. I had made a special trip to post parcel and checked that Post office was open. Woman behind counter could not be bothered to spend less than a minute for me to post a parcel that did not even require me paying any money! Total rubbish customer service!

it is now rare to find more than one cashier on duty at the Moreton-in-Marsh Co-Op Post Office and queues often wind round the store. That's when industrial action isn't taking place. Most recently I had to hold/move a heavy parcel for 12 minutes before it was my turn with the only operating cashier, the other two windows were, as is so often the case these days, closed. Is this a staffing or a management issue? The Postmen who deliver couldn't be more helpful but the counter staff rarely raise a smile. I really miss the charming staff and their attentive, efficient service when we had a real Post Office, which has now sadly been converted into flats.
