I’ve had a disappointing experience working with this agency, which I’ve never encountered with any other agency in Manchester. They engage content creators to support their paid social campaigns, with a clear agreement on payment terms. However, when it comes to processing payments, there is a lack of transparency and accountability. Despite multiple follow-ups, I’ve only received vague responses with no clear resolution.

It’s particularly concerning to hear that other creators have faced the same issue, with some even having their public concerns removed. I’ve worked with numerous agencies that uphold strong relationships with their collaborators, so this has been an unexpected and frustrating experience. I hope to see better practices put in place to ensure fair and timely treatment of creators moving forward.

They’ve got a few great team members that worked hard and communicated positively, but overall our result was poor. Made a huge loss on our investment (way more spent on the agency than tickets generated) and the MD of the business was overwhelmingly defensive and took no ownership when we brought it to his attention.
In response to the reply, worth noting we sold over 300 tickets from our own marketing efforts, Mustard media sold 7.
For the second event, we are close to sell out with 3 months to go before the event date. Just to put it into perspective... they mention below in the reply that it's a new and unproven concept... yet our marketing efforts (total spend on our efforts was under £1000) generated considerably more than the £30,000+ that we spent with mustard media (generating 7 ticket sales)
PPS Please note, they took a severe lack of ownership and pointed blame dramatically at us, despire them failing to deliver on their promises (they were super confident they'd comfortably sell out during the sales process)
