Disappointing Experience with NASA Consulting Ltd and NASA Umbrella

I have been a client of NASA Consulting Ltd and NASA Umbrella for over a decade, and unfortunately, their service quality has significantly degraded over the years. Despite my efforts to ensure accurate financial reporting, I consistently ended up paying more taxes than necessary due to their lack of proactive advice and support. This has been a source of immense frustration.

The team seemed disconnected from understanding my business's unique nature and legitimate expenses. On multiple occasions, I had to repeatedly justify business-related expenses, only to face skepticism and a lack of comprehension from their side. This lack of understanding not only wasted my time but also eroded my trust in their expertise.

When I requested a change in the assigned accountant due to a strained working relationship, my request was outright denied. This forced me to continue working with someone I no longer trusted, further compounding the dissatisfaction.

Overall, the lack of customer-centricity, poor support, and unwillingness to adapt to client needs have left me deeply disappointed. I would not recommend NASA Consulting Ltd and NASA Umbrella to anyone seeking a reliable and supportive accounting partner.

I've used these guys for ages and whenever I have a query or question - they just answer it! Most of the time I use the online chat facility and it's so simple & quick.

They didn't ask me to leave a review, but after 3 yrs using them across multiple contracts, I'm extremely happy with them & he service provided.

Mediocre to disappointing experience with Nasa Umbrella. Having contracted for best part of a decade, i'm used to long winded supply chains and not put off by the occasional greasing of the cogs to keep things in check and moving. However with Nasa EVERYTHING has been painful so far. From my assignment not being set up on their end, to not getting my first pay on time, and now my reward portal access not being in place. I'm willing to bet my SIPP payments will also be an issue next. Everything just seems to be broken on their end and its not been a smooth experience. The reason for not giving 1 star is because their customer service seem helpful and do eventually get round to sorting it out, but come on having to call in multiple times / chase on everything so far has been disappointing and frustrating. Hope it doesn't continue like this, otherwise will be going with another umbrella which the other contractors at my current assignment are very pleased with and they all got paid on first pay on time AND they've had numerous follow ups by their umbrella company to ensure everything has been set up properly etc. A number of us started on the same day, through the same agency, at the same end client so this clearly showed Nasa screwed up. If rewards portal access (a service which i pay a fee for) and/or SIPP payments screws up i'm done with Nasa. Currently i would not be recommending Nasa to anyone else.

Unprofessional and uncompromising customer service.

NASA takes up to 30 days to process SIPP payments, this is excessive for passing through a pension contribution that has already been deducted from pay. It is very likely that this processing time is a justification to hold onto accrued interest.

I only used Nasa Umbrella for 4 weeks, while in a temp-to-perm position, but they were very efficient and helpful. I called them literally one day before I was due to start, and they got me set up and I was paid right on time. Their fees are also very competitive.
