This place was fantastic and there were loads to see. Lots of history and family paraphernalia. There were some great displays and tge staff were very helpful. They have all terrain mobility scooters to borrow for free and what a boost to mobility they are. It gets busy and that's always a healthy sign.

Great visit today. My granddaughters loved the summer of play, and I loved looking around the gardens and the house. It's been a few years since we were here. The house still has several levels open and a brilliant display of paintings, porcelain figures, and furniture. All displayed as though they were in storage.

This visit was to see the Helios exhibition but it is a lovely place to visit. The weather was good so able to enjoy the gardens. Lots of open space here for picnics and games and outside is dog friendly. Plenty to see and do at the hall. Id recommend if the church is open to pop in and see that too. Cafe nice and clean with a good choice of refreshments if a little pricey.

Tips - bring chalk, there is a play section in some woods with blackboards for kids to draw on.

I stopped here recently on my way past. It is good for all ages who appreciate the outdoors and exploring. Good for kids as there is a play area, good for the elderly as it's mostly flat walk, or has aids for wheelchairs. There are lots of places to stop and have a rest.

Great for a picnic, loads of seats around the grounds, or if you bring a blanket to sit on, there are plenty of places to eat.

There is lots of history, and a good collection of China, suit of armour, paintings and other collectables inside the house.

For kids, plenty of ground to run around, an climbing frame and outdoor mini park, and a couple of mirror structures to look at.

Dogs look to be welcome.

I didn't ear in the cafe, but I have pics attached on what was on offer.

Toilets - right next to the cafe there aren't many but if you go into the section next to the cafe by the stables there are more toilets there

Great place for a family day out, the lawn games are out in the summer months (tennis, badminton, football, cricket etc) and the kids absolutely love it. Beautiful gardens and the play park is great for all ages and is always maintained well.

Lovely day here today with the children and friends. First time here. Beautiful building and grounds. Food at the cafe was nice, enjoyed the steak burger. Plenty of toilets dotted around. The Easter trail was good and the children enjoyed it. The play park could do with an update, the main structure was fairly wobbly. All in all, a nice few hours out.

A lovely place to visit. Some great volunteers here and a lovely lady who told us all about the church on the site and it's History and Architecture. A great woodland area with different 'rooms' to enjoy. First time here but will certainly return.

Beautiful National Trust property. The grounds are very accessible aside from the Hall itself. The gardens are wonderfully maintained and there is a brilliant play park at the end. Very expensive coffee though- over £5!
