Hands down one of the best gig venues in London. Used to come here all the time for gigs back in the day. I was recently here two nights in a row after ages and it’s still just as good! Love that you get a good view from anywhere you’re standing. They could do with getting rid of the carpet downstairs by the bar - it’s pretty grim and sticky.

An iconic music venue in London. The staff are all friendly and getting into the venue was efficient. Unfortunately the view from the balcony seats are not great and if you are near the back the front of the stage is partially obstructed.

Went to see Soft Play tonight. What a great venue. The staff in the VIP bar were so friendly and the security team and people on the door couldn't have been more friendly. One guy in particular, I think he was called Tani was above and beyond helpful. Generally a very good vibe. Thank you Brixton.

This was our first visit to this iconic venue and we were immediately impressed by the grandeur of it. It isn't the traditional o2 academy. Plenty to look around at whilst waiting for bands to play.
The best part (coming from a short person) is the sloped floor which made it a lot easier to be able to see the stage, even with taller people in front!
Toilets near the stage are another bonus of this venue. We will definitely be back here!

Good venue for sound no matter where you are stood, but there are not enough toilets or bars. The queue for the ladies were all very long with 20 mins waits at basically any time.

Great venue. But why are bands not coming on till 9:40pm? Need to get trains home. Also now you have to walk around the block to queue. Also over 8 quid for a beer in a plastic cup is ridiculous.

Nice decorated inside. Was sitting in upper circle. If singer stand up to the front of the stage, then probably cannot see them!

I recently attended a performance by "Faithless" at the Brixton Academy O2, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The venue itself is iconic, and the team working behind the scenes truly made the evening unforgettable.

The crowd control and security were impressively efficient, ensuring everything ran smoothly and safely. From entering the venue to finding our spot, the entire process was seamless, allowing us to focus on enjoying the night. Dropping off jackets at the cloakroom was quick and easy, which was a relief given how busy it was.

The drinks service was well-organized, with plenty of options and no lengthy queues, making it easy to grab refreshments without missing a moment of the performance. Speaking of which, the access to the stage and the acoustics of the venue were absolutely fantastic – perfect for enjoying a legendary act like Faithless.

A huge thank you to all the staff and crew who worked so hard to ensure everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. Your efforts are truly appreciated. Brixton Academy O2 remains a top-tier venue for live music, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
