My wife bought a Fray Bentos chicken pie from here, and when she returned home, she was shocked to look at the expiry date, which was BBE 05/2023 which is 18 months past its best before date! I returned to the shop and checked the rest of the pies on the shelf and they're BBE was 10/2024, again out of date!
We won't be going there again as we don't want to to get food poisoning from out of date food.

Use this newsagents every day. Very friendly and helpful staff. They even went the extra mile last year during lockdown with food deliveries for those in the village that were shielding.
