We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful property with amazing friendly and attentive staff. We are regular visitors to Pembrokeshire and had eaten at Penally Abbey but never managed to stay before. After a stressful day we left the Midlands far too late to make dinner so we arrived to plates of sandwiches prepared for us which we took in the lounge with cocktails and wine of our choice. The team were so welcoming, understanding and attentive, and the decor and views amazing. I can’t recommend the hotel highly enough. Thank you!

I'm giving it a 3 because its a beautiful building and grounds in a scenic location with helpful staff.|My wife , who chose the location, were on a two night stay hoping to enjoy the surroundings and eat good food. It's a lovely building, great location. The food offering looked good, but an incredibly limited offering. The actual servings were minute with embarrasingly few contents. Breakfast the next day included what we later surmised was fermenting apple and orange juice, resulting in a very uncomfortable day for my good lady. We did not did there on our second evening.

We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday weekend. The hotel is fabulous, in a great location and is run by super friendly staff. The breakfast is super tasty & has a great selection on offer. We stayed in one of the dog friendly coach house rooms that was perfect, beautifully decorated & spotless. We ate in the restaurant one of the nights & the food was fantastic. This hotel is a little gem & I will definitely be staying again.

Booked afternoon tea here on Mothers' Day. A real touch of luxury - relaxed setting, beautiful surroundings and views, attentive staff and wonderfully presented food. Thank you Penally Abbey for making our day so special. Nothing was too much trouble for you and for us as your guests, the whole experience was delightful.

Hugely disappointing afternoon tea. Overpriced at £32. We have had afternoon teas here twice in the past 6 years but this weekend was a big disappointment. Very poor savoury selection, which if you didn’t like curry flavour was a problem. Only 2 sandwich fingers per person. Had two additional soft drinks to the afternoon tea and then advised gratuitous was added to the bill came to an eye watering £7 |Wont be back and won’t be recommending which is something we have done in the past!

We spent 3 nights at Penally Abbey our room was very comfortable with a huge bed and fluffy pillows. It had a coffee machine as well as a kettle. We cannot speak too highly of the staff who went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. We ate in the hotels Rhosyn Restaurant on two evenings. The food from a small but varied menu was excellent. The venison was excellent as was the cured salmon and cod cheeks. The cheese course was original and out of this world being a mille feuille of creamed and cubed local (Hafod) cheese with a green apple sorbet. Although we were there in January the hotel was still busy. We will definitely be back.
