Having recently completed a 5-week music video making course at Raw, run by the very helpful and understanding duo of Chavez and Naz, I wholly recommend this skilled blend of technical development and pastoral support. The free, collaborative course was filled with interesting insight and hands-on experience delivered in a compelling and light-hearted way. Naz' warm energy and passion to help develop young people's skills is inspirational.

Raw Material is an exceptional place for young people to learn, experience and develop their musical and artistic talents that has been running for the last 25 years. It is an award winning charity for its work in mental health and is a highly acclaimed Arts Council England organisation that has gained National Portfolio Organisation status. The services are mostly free of charge and the centre in Brixton offers state of the art recording studios, rehearsal studio and music production rooms.

I really enjoy the community and being around creatives and musicians. The programmes here are amazing and helpful. The video production course I did was very informative. I also helped out in a music video!

I went to a Raw music concert the other day at the
Royal Festival Hall.
What a Beautiful bunch of Young People with not a twerk
in sight.
An Exceptionally talented group of Artists.
A throughly enjoyable evening.
I just hope that they realise that the Community they've got
is a millon times more valuable then anything that the
music industry could ever offer any of them
sistasue.
