I had a problem with a TV I bought online and was told to take it to my local store which was the Cambridge branch. They ordered me a replacement TV which arrived the next day. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Excellent service and super easy to return faulty products. Highly recommended.

Received fab service purchasing new, juicy OLED TV from Olivia's Team. Very friendly staff. All gone smoothly on a very rainy day. Received even an umbrella as a gift as I had to park my car on the other side of the road to get finance approved first.
As always, Richer Sound have great selection of home Hi Fi and TVs.

Very disappointed with the service today. I spent so far about 30k in this shop and they could get projector which I am interested to buy I to the demo room despite me calling twice and book it visit for specific time.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Really happy with pioneer amp and monitor audio speakers purchased from cambridge store. Was able to hear products in demo room before making a decision, then the wonderful Paul who works there came round to our home to set everything up. Bought to go with our record player, but he even wired the speakers through our TV. Everything sounds incredible. Would highly recommend. Wow!!!

Went in initially to get some advice, think that I knew what I needed, but I was wrong!
Paul came to see us as we were by then browsing and he definitely put us right ✅ ? ? I wanted a new AV unit to upgrade from my starter Sony unit, I ended up with something much much better and with little price difference to the one I had my eye on.
After that on total impulse although we did discuss it in depth before the final decision we bought a new TV ? ? ? ? not that we needed it but because we wanted it ? ? and the whole package was an absolute bargain and all has a six year warranty, what more would you want ? ? oh yes free delivery, the overall experience was that of NO pressure selling, if anything just steered to what we actually needed so no wasting money and such knowledgeable staff and very helpful and friendly ? ? ☺
Would very happily and highly recommend that if you need anything audio or visual this is the place to go. Even if it is in Cambridge, I don't like Cambridge but will make a big exception for Richer Sounds.

Good RS with helpful staff. Not huge, and prices are often keen but of course if you know what you want, you can shop around (they will sometimes match). The sound room is good if you let them know in advance what to set up. Accessories are limited and you can avoid one or two members of staff who treat you like an idiot for disagreeing with them on the aural quality of connects, who have an explanation straight off the marketing pages of suppliers and which defy the laws of physics.

The staff here are always immensely friendly and very knowledgeable. They're great to chat to and always make a committed effort to assist you with making the most informed and suitable purchase you can.

However in the unlikely event that you encounter an issue with a purchase or a product, the customer service and assistance they offer is second to none. Whilst I've experiences with other retailers who offer good guarantees and returns policy etc, my experience at Richer Sounds has completely shifted my perspective; I've never known treatment as superlative as this.

They've consistently gone above and beyond in their efforts to help me when I've been having trouble with a purchase I've made, allowing me to purchase with absolute confidence (which is exactly what you want given the level of expenditure that's possible on certain products in their range).

As long as this level of services is maintained I will never shop elsewhere as far as audio electronics are concerned. A wonderful store staffed by an incredible team.

Really disappointing, I used to be a huge fan of Richer Sounds - I have bought a few items from them in the past and the customer service has always been exceptional.
With the bargains that can be had online this really is their USP and my last visit was based upon this premise as I was looking for a TV with certain functions on it that weren't quite clear when researching online.
In store I was assured that the TV met my needs and I happily bought it. Unfortunately this turned out to not be the case, not the end of the world and I can't expect the staff to know every nuance of every single TV.

However, when phoning to deal with this is where my experience leads to the two star review.
There were several remedies to my situation, I could of been upsold the model that suited my needs, I could of received an apology at least or I could of been invited back in store to discuss and look at options...
Instead I was told that there is a 10% restocking fee on my refund and the manager I spoke with really couldn't of been any less interested.

Clearly I explained that I'm not paying a restocking fee and this is now resolved with the refund given.

The in store 'mistake' isn't my issue, when the business is supposed to focus on aftersales I really feel that there is a lot of room for improvement here unfortunately.
The in store experience and returns process has led me as you would expect to just buy from an online retailer who deliver faster and provide cheaper.
