Fantastic customer service. I'd enquired about trading in my old, entry-level turntable for an upgrade.

I got a call back from Ahmed within the hour, he let me know that I'd get a better deal selling my old turntable privately, and then preceeded to offer a discount of a bit more than what would be offered for trade in. The price of the new turntable was already the best I could find.

I had the new turntable delivered to the Leeds store, the process was very smooth, and I was kept up to date by phone.

When I picked it up from the store, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and sorted things out quickly, mindful that I was parked on the double yellows.

Really pleased with my new turntable, it's a big upgrade, and the service I received makes it all the better.

Really cannot recommend enough.

Just bought my first HiFi from Richer Sounds and thought it was a great experience. Gavin was super helpful in setting kit up for a demo and offering friendly non-pressuring advice for someone new to the whole thing. In the end I chose the Oberon 1 paired with Denon DM41DAB and have been loving this setup ever since bringing it home.

Bought a new pair of speakers here they were very helpful immediately setting up an apointment for me to listen to what they had in my price range. On finding a pair of speakers I liked (wharfedale diamond 12.1 normally £250) I inquired about a sale they had on them for £200.
Unfortunately this had just ended but the sales associate offered me the display pair for £200. I then called the next day to confirm (speaking to a different associate as the one I had talked to wasn't in) that I wanted to purchase these speakers to be told they didn't know about this agreement as it wasn't in writing and that they wouldn't usually offer this unless it was their last pair.
They then proceeded to offer me new ones at a discounted price of £225 but then respected my decision when I said I wanted the display pair at £200.
Overall it was a very positive experience and despite the confusion around the display models they remained friendly and honoured the deal they had previously made even if it was inconvenient for them.( which I think other stores likely wouldn't have).
I will definitely be returning for any other hifi I need.

Needed to update a 30 year old system and Harry was most patient and helpful talking us through different options for a turntable, radio/amp and speakers. We came away with a system that met our needs. Very happy with the service we have recieved from Richer Sounds. Thank you.

From my original enquiry about some active speakers with store manager Chris, the service has been excellent. Assistant manager Gavin set up a demo session outside of normal opening hours to suit me.
He was very knowledgeable with any questions I had. Anything he wasn't sure of he found out for me while I was there.
Even to the point of sourcing some extended cables to suit my installation needs and including them in the purchase.
A pleasure to deal with, from start to finish

We made an appointment, and went into the Leeds store this morning to see Mikey.
We needed information and advice about replacing our old lounge hi-if system.
Mikey was excellent, and took the time to listen to our requirements, then to explain our possible options, and then to demonstrate a possible system to us
He later prepared and emailed me 2 quotations of potential systems that would suit our requirements.
No hard-sell whatsoever.
A quick check at home shows the quoted prices are comparable with online retailers.
But at Richer Sounds you get the benefit of excellent personal service and great advice
I am certainly going to follow-up my quotes today, and purchase the kit
And for the future, for any hi-fi related matters I will go to Richer Sounds first.

I hate buying TV’s, always been a Sony fan and I am very fussy on picture quality. But with the new LG released and a few nasty niggles with my own set, I was convinced that was the way forward. Called in at Richer Sounds Leeds. Met Paul who listened to and appreciated my concerns. I made it clear I wasn't purchasing at that point but the support I received was still above and beyond. He worked with me to compare all the models available and make up my own mind. Not only that but he had extra info relating to models and features. This saved me the best part of £600. I called him back later that day and purchased over the phone. (PS it wasn't a Sony) The TV was delivered the next day by a very careful delivery service. I have bought from other places out of laziness and convenience. But this experience was first class and a reminder to make the effort and go into town. Julian please consider making Richer Sounds in outer industrial areas. The world is lazy and wants to pull up outside in their car.
That said I am so glad I made the effort.
