Came in a couple of days ago looking to buy a new turntable & was met with great service & a thorough recommendation from Rory, for one I had my eye on. Went into the store after purchasing some speakers online that I was not 100% happy with. Spoke to Rory who not only returned them without a problem he then helped me pick out a new system and gave me a demo of the speakers so I could hear how they all sounded. Ended up buying an Amp and Speakers on his recommendation and having set them up I am blown away by how it all sounds in place.

Cannot recommend richer sounds enough, the prices are great and the staff both friendly and knowledgeable

Very pleased with the latest LG TV that I bought from Richer Sounds about 3weeks ago.
Two outstanding things from my shopping experience:

1) The product itself: LG OLED42C44LA

2) The after sales service

1) The product.-
I needed a compact TV for my small/medium size living room but without compromising quality & performance. The 42' is perfect, in terms of design (sleek, space saver) and performance:
image: by using LG's OLED evo technology, it has a very deep contrast - blacks are really black, but ALSO it provides a perfect contrast and vibrant colours that QLED TVs offer.
It has incorporated various AI features: -α9 AI processor 8K upscales 2K or 4K content to the most real like 8K picture.
- AI Sound Pro, enhances sounds effects and dialogues are crispy, this is in addition to the Dolby Atmos cinematic standard.
It comes also with a AI Super Upscaling (up to 4K) option that enhances lower-resolution content.

The Operating system webOS 24, facilitates an easy and intuitive navigation through a rich system full of options ( integrated streaming services amongst other).

Overall, the LG OLED42C44LA has been a good choice for me, where I was looking for a technically enhanced OLED TV delivered in a smaller package. Picture quality is outstanding, sound is captivating and many AI and smart features, it was the best 2024 TV option for me and my particular requirements.

2) After sales. The delivery was prompt and accommodating and the price was matching at the time the best offer in the market. But it was during a technical query a few days later, that I happen to comment the fact that I had seen a lower price somewhere else ( in fact £249.00 cheaper). This was more a comment on passing by than a remark or query, but Richer Sounds (Steve @ Reading branch) took this on board and honoured their matching promise, result: a surprised ? and very, very happy ? customer.
I have been a Richer Sounds customer for many years and this last experience just confirms and reaffirms my preferred choice for an AV products provider ?

Excellent service and advice from Nick and everyone in this shop. Found a great deal on a TV in stock, I chose a wall bracket and Nick showed me what I chose and what they use in store and suggested a cheaper alternative. No pressure just excellent advice. + 6 year warranty! Even helped carry the TV out to the car. Would highly recommend.
