Travel from Glasgow as they have some exclusive and exquisite frames such as the Masunaga I was after.

I went there and try quite a few pairs, although, I ask if we could order some more to try and he agreed with no issues and no deposit. So he order for me 3 more frames and eventually when they did arrive we found the right pair 🙂

The same day I also did the eye exam, again very professional and Claudine made the experience very pleasant.

And the most important, Lenses: Robert patiently and truthfully explained the whole range and options he can have and the one he suggests depending on the prescription. He stock Rodenstock, Hoya and Seiko but I could also had other manufacturer

I end up with 2 pairs due to a promotions and I’m very happy with both of them!!!

Robert was extremely helpful when I managed to break my glasses. He quickly patched my broken glasses together while I waited for my new glasses to be assembled. I am now delighted with my new pair of glasses which took less than a week to arrive.

This is an optician like they used to be. Good, honest and open, and customer service above all else.

I went to Robert with a particular issue I was having elsewhere, having explained the problem Robert came up with a solution. Was it cheap? No, but when your glasses just do what you want them to do sometimes it's not always just about the price. Can you really put a price on being able to see clearly?

When choosing my frames the choice was vast and I swear Robert enjoyed the whole process almost as much as I did. Every time I thought I'd found "the pair" Robert would come back with another selection for me to try.

My glasses arrived and I popped in for a fitting appointment and OMG. I have never experienced anyone as particular at getting the glasses sitting just right the way Robert does. A wee tweek here and an adjustment there. Rinse and repeat and finally they were sitting where he was happy with them.

After only a couple of days wear I can honestly say the glasses are something else, I'm struggling to find a superlative that expresses adequately just how clearly I can see with these glasses. I have obviously worn many pair of glasses over the years and each new pair has always brought a better clearer view than the outgoing pair as the prescription changes but these give something else. Yes every thing is in sharp focus, but it's more than that. Everything has a clarity I never knew I was missing. It's like my old glasses were only HD and the new ones are 4K. I don't really understand how, but I'm not going to complain, I'm going to enjoy the view in everything I look at.

Only problem I have now is I may well just pop back for a second pair, just so I have choices, but shhh, don't tell Robert 🙂
