My experience with Kemps Publishing Ltd has been diabolical to say the least, I ended up signing up just to stop the relentless high pressure telephone calls, which left me confused as to what I had actually signed up to, I attempted to cancel within 14 days, only to be subjected to an extortionate cancellation fee 75% of the booking fee, which was reduced to a ‘generous’ 50% after some negotiation. However this still left me with a hefty bill and one full bill for a published advert which despite their promises failed to realise any return. The whole experience with Kemps has been awful, they asked me to remove my google review and where at times rude and inappropriate on the phone.

After joining the Birmingham chambers of commerce they contacted me, presumably from finding my details on the members directory. After constant pressure calls and texts I ended up signing the contract for a publishing. The chambers offers me free publishing and as a new member they took advantage of me. Now they want me to pay a ridiculous price to cancel my publishing, although I gave two months notice. Horrible service, I would not recommend them to anyone.

Great company who really understand the needs of a business with regards to advertising. Have offered me and my business good discounts on advertising that has enabled me to pick up several commercial customers for my cleaning business. Will certainly be renewing my adverts next year. It's always a gamble when you spend money on advertising, but gladly their publications paid off!

Similar to other reviewers here, after joining the chamber of commerce, they pressure sell ads in the magazine, complete scam. Charged me £1400 for 3 months of adverts which lead to zero business. Avoid.

Awful company to work with. Pressured and rushed calls to get a contract signed which ended up being something we hadn't even discussed(!) which was a listing on a search website... that of course, Kemps own! Thought maybe I had made an error by signing the contract while blindly believing it was for what the rep told me on the phone... looks as though this is a frequent trick of theirs from other reviews!

Aside from the poor performance of any advertising they sell for their 'magazines' (which have been the worse performing of any publication we've ever used. Their 'readership' numbers seem to be very inaccurate as the magazines get thrown and sent everywhere for free to increase readership numbers. The content is so poor that no-one reads them anyway (It's just adverts and advertorials, hiding as content - that's it!).

Worse than a poor publication for advertising though, they continue to abuse their access to chamber databases and connections to chamber organisations to hassle and harangue new (and uninformed) businesses to buy their overpriced advertising and advertorials. It just doesn't stop - despite repeated requests.
