I can recommend Smart Media. We run a campsite and they help us with the google listing of our website. We receive regular phone calls to see if we wish to add any more key words to our goose account. We also get regular updates as to how our website is performing and advice to make it better.

Used to be Link Promotions (google them and their phone number).
They target small hotels. b & b's and campsites - stating they will be taken off google maps listings if you don't sign up to their service.
They also try and convince you this is a renewal call and claim stats from google (which are available to anyone) are down to them sending words into all the search engines. Very aggressive - use all the best sales techniques based on your fear you won't be found on Google. My advice, don't sign up and save yourself £240. I am not a customer. They have called our family business and put us under pressure.

Further to the above.. Just been called by Ross from the above company, completely denying they do this practise and their member of staff Alex will be fired.

In Alex's calls over the last two weeks; he was asking for a £200 fee to sign us up and have Smart Media Solutions Ltd submit key words to all of the search providers on our behalf - and without this, our map listing traffic would decline. We asked how this takes place with any access, Alex said - we don't need access.
Alex also stated this was a 'renewal' and we have never had any dealings with this company before (so this was a lie) - he said if we don't renew, our traffic would reduce.

PLEASE NOTE: This service is not needed and you do not need to submit key words to maintain a map listing. Therefor you would be paying for fresh air.

Ross has stated this is not a practise Smart Media Solutions Ltd do and he will sack Alex.

Taking Ross to his word, if this business call you and offer the above service - their member of staff is not providing a service they offer and you should call them and inform Ross the manager.

Ross wanted to make it clear Link Promotions are not the same company as Smart Media solutions Ltd.
(They have the same director and Alex was using the same business practise as many of the complaints for Link Promotions in the past).
He stated they are at a different address and just because they have the same director they are not the same.

Smart Media have looked after my online profile for many years. What's best is in all that time I've had the same account manager so I know I'm talking to the right company. There are so many bogus ones trying to scam businesses. They have always done as asked or what they have offered and always very professional.
