Gary Brindley of Step 3 Digital not only designs and builds exceptional websites, he also provides a website audit service. This service is quite involved, starting with a discussion of what the owner of the website expects in terms of for example views, viewer involvement or actual business achieved. The audit evaluates everything from how the website looks on different devices - computer, tablet and mobile, navigation around the site, its viewer involvement, terminology etc. Gary does this on camera, recording his reactions and comments.

The final report is twofold - a written precis and a copy of the video recording. It is frank, sometimes hard hitting but always truthful designed to help the site owner develop an action plan to improve the site and better achieve the results the site has been designed to provide.

I found the process informative, eye-opening even, and I am very grateful to Gary for the time he took auditing the site.
