80s extravaganza! If you love this decade of music then you'll love Rewind at Temple Island Meadows. Not a huge festival but a fair size with 10-15k attending. Facilities are good with plenty of camping pitches, pre erected tents and a Camper Van field. The showers we're slightly overcrowded although the Camper Van field had a good number compared to the number of pitches. Toilets were kept fairly clean throughout the weekend so overall a thumbs up for cleanliness. The catering was hit and miss, lots of variety but not great quality. Good selection of artists to suit all 80s tastes and some decent side acts on the smaller stages. Lots of fancy dress, drinks, dancing and laughs all weekend. Prices of food and drink wasn't too bad with a pint of Cider costing £4.50 and an average meal £6.50. Will definitely visit again.

I walked along the Thames Path here towards Henley. Although most of the river has bends, this part is pretty straight long you to see Henley for quite a long way.

Great place to walk, surrounding are idyllic and very refreshing. There are so many things to see and the wildlife is great. Its an easy walk where the ground is flat and not hard going. First time we walked along the bank of the Thames after we then cycled and its great for both activities.

Visited this place for Rewind 2019. Thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly the Riverside Stage supervised by Henley Theatre Services. Here the less well known acts gave their performances where the lighting was especially spectacular. Well worth a visit.

Temple Island is the starting point for the rowing events. You cannot access the Island, as it's a private venue. Normally university/college/school rowing teams use the fields adjacent to the Island for parking their cars/boats. There's sometimes hospitality venues and coffee bars, but it totally depends on what is going on and the time of year. The towpath is easy to follow from Hambledon to Henley. A good place to walk dogs, have a picnic and watch the river. There are no toilets here. You can come off the path to visit Remenham Church.

Today there was a music festival about to take place and the river side footpath was diverted around the event. So many people dressed in their finest. I felt very underdressed as a mere walker.
