Absolutely wonderful staff! So friendly and polite managed to squeeze us in as we didn't book as we were passing through. The pub was spotless and music wasn't too loud.
Husband had the Sunday roast beef, which he enjoyed thoroughly, the Yorkshire puddings were HUGE!
I opted for the beef lasagne and I wasn't disappointed,portion sizes were very generous and enjoyable without feeling overwhelmed.
For desert we had the cheesecake of the day which was raspberry white chocolate which again was brilliant. We will definitely be returning to this little gem of a pub!

Beautiful Pub , Friendly Staff. I had bangers and mash while my partner Crispy Chicken Bites. We both really enjoyed our meals.

Didn't break the bank either .

This is one of those pubs you really need to rave about but secretly don't want anyone to know about and keep it to yourself!!! A lovely pub, fantastic staff, friendly, happy, can't do enough for you and the best chef in the world ... the food, like the service is absolutely awesome. Our new favorite place ....

We arrived on a very busy night as they seemed to have a large party in. We didn't have to wait though and we were sat at the time we booked. We had the sharing plate to start. This was all homemade and very tasty and very large. After the starters we were asked if we would like to move to a corner table with 4 seats rather than a 2 seater in the middle, it was a very thoughtful gesture as we were in a quieter area. Main arrived and it was large to say the least, I had the chicken burger and my husband the chicken bites. It was all very tasty but we couldn't eat it all and next time probably wouldn't have a starter.
We will definitely visit again. I did notice other people's food which all looked lovely and the atmosphere very good, just a little noisy but there was a large party in. The service was excellent and they checked on us at each stage and refreshed our drinks. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Visited several times for meals always cooked to perfection. Sunday lunch did not disappoint the pork just melted in my mouth. All the vegetables are fresh and served piping hot. Would definitely recommend. Staff are welcoming, friendly and nothing too much trouble

Myself and my wife went for Lunch today. We had the sharing platter off the main menu which had some of the most delicious chicken bites I have ever tasted..so good we thought of ordering some to walk back to our Airbnb with.
The onion rings and skin on fries were a close second. The pub is modern, up to date and very clean with a good.sized garden at the back with plenty of seating and parking.
The girls who were working today were very helpful, friendly and ready to recommend a few things from the menu .
The menu has great choices and a lovely little lunchtime menu too

What can I say... We had a meal while camping . I can honestly say the service was amazing so friendly it felt like I was at home . But the food is just out of this world .
This fish was the size of a whale. The chips where beautifully cooked so tasty. The home made lasagne was so tasty well cooked & presented just amazing. Burgers just sublime. The scampi with prawns just perfectly cooked & so tasty... All I can say is 6 meals 6very happy people. I can highly recommend this place for a great evening meal with friendly service thanks to Lotty & the staff . A big thanks to the chefs too.

Thank you Dan and team for another excellent meal today. As ever the welcome was warm, the service excellent, and our starters of halloumi fries and panko prawns, followed by steak pie and gammon main courses were well presented and delicious. The kitchen was obviously busy, but food orders were very well managed. A lovely, relaxing Saturday lunch.
