Went for a meal, ordered steak..The food was all home made..no frozen products here..!! The service was excellent, the staff were so very friendly..🤩 but my steak was very tough indeed.. ( although ordered medium/well) it was cooked to specification..just a bad cut of steak I think ( didn't have the heart to say anything as the staff were so lovely!) Definitely didn't put me off visiting again..although I'll stay away from the steak and try something else..

Seen the reviews about the food & the staff so decided to visit for Sunday dinner. OMG we were not disappointed 🥰 the carvery was absolutely outstanding & after over 43yrs in the trade it was one of the best I have ever had. It’s hard for me as a chef to go out & eat but we will definitely be going back, staff, manager, food 5+ stars, very highly recommended 🙏❤️

Group of 6 of us went for an evening meal friday night. Cannot knock the food as it is lovely, so was the young girl that served us. Unfortunately this was let down by the lady with short blonde hair, the owner/ landlady ! Basically once you finished your meal she wanted you out, as well as having no sence of humer. Needs to have some lessons in customer service !

We (6 of us) visited in May on a Sunday for the Sunday Carvery.

The food is excellent, wide ranging and plentiful (choose between a standard or small plate), and the deserts most tasty.

Excellent value for money (the photos are of a standard plate).

Staff always very welcoming.

Top tip - book ahead on a Sunday: it's always been busy when we have visited.

Lots of free parking at the front and the back; outside seating and a small play area for the children too. What's not to like?

Service was lovely, Menu explained to us easily.
We had a mid week roast and it did not disappoint. Bought straight to the table plated, hot, plenty if gravy with an extra pot on the side and lovely fresh veg. Bargain price too!
Will be returning again for sure.

Saw this little pub whilst driving so we popped in for some lunch and it was a wonder experience from start to finish! Fantastic customer service, absolutely beautiful delicious food! And a homey atmosphere would recommend to anyone!
