Simply perfect. Anna and the team helped me plan to room really carefully pulling into the main requirements and theme I had for my office. It’s now a delightful place to work and relax in the morning with a cuppa watching the birds in the garden. The modular furniture and desk and chest of drawers all work perfectly and have deliver the storage I so desperately needed. The foot stool is luxurious. Thank you the Dormy House!!

I have been buying Dormy House furniture ever since we moved to our house 9 years ago. The furniture is always great quality and gives a fresh modern feel to the space. Whenever I have had an issue with an item, the company are keen to resolve it whether by sourcing a replacement or making a fix on site. Their delivery team are always professional, skilled and competent in the task in hand. I couldn't recommend the furniture or the customer service more highly.

We were in the position of needing a second home office after a job change, as most houses are not blessed with 2 offices we started looking around for for neat solutions!

We stumbled across Dormy house and loved the look of their furniture, but basically decided it was a bit to pricy for what we had in mind. We looked at loads of other solutions, but we kept coming back to this!!

We were cheeky and got a few quotes from furniture makers to in effect copy the design, and the quotes were crazy, with some more purist makers wanting to just leave the wood.

Anyway we realised the showroom was just in Andover (we are Southampton) so popped to have a look. I note that one of the other reviews says the showroom was dimly lit and nobody came out to see them. I didn’t notice the lighting, nobody came to see us, but that was fine, it’s not a shop. All the furniture was there and you could see the fabrics and nobs etc, along with the different shades of paint etc. it was great being able to have a look around.

I note one of the other reviews says the furniture is made from MDF, so think bespoke Ikea! I think that’s an incorrect statement, most Ikea is veneered chipboard, and in any case we looked in Ikea and they did nothing like this!! I would also say that MDF was mainly designed for furniture and used correctly it’s fine (I had the same thoughts, spending a lot of money for MDF) however after being in the showroom you could tell the quality and workmanship it is unfair to dismiss it as just MDF. Although they don’t try and hide the base materials it’s clear on their website!!

Anyway after the showroom we had decided fabrics and knobs etc, we emailed Dormy House with a few questions etc, they are very quick on email, which always bodes well with me.

We placed our order online, and they make it very clear it’s made to order and so there is a wait, you could see the production line in the showroom through the outside windows and when people walked through doors etc, you could see they were a thriving little business.

A couple of times I got impatient (as is my nature!) and I emailed to see how my order was getting on, again instant response straight away, with good updates.

Have taken delivery and we are thrilled with how it looks in our living room, the delivery crew were so helpful.

The unit has a great look and feel to it, and most importantly my wife is happy….happy wife happy life!!

Thrilled and would recommend, worth the stretch as it’s not just a desk, it’s a statement piece of furniture!

Every time I order with The Dormy House I am so impressed with the level of service - it is always so easy to liaise with Anna who has always answered any queries speedily and fully. As one of the owners of the company she is obviously very knowledgeable about the product range and so is able to provide really helpful advice, and can guide you with your decision making process.

I also love the fact that this is a British family run company who still make their products here in the UK. As a result they are also able to tweak the product design to suit your needs - obviously not possible if everything is made in a factory overseas.

I have ordered several soft furnishing items recently and have been so happy with the quality of the finish, so much better than you would find in a High Street store.

Anna, Louise and Sophia were brilliant in helping to design a desk which fits the space I wanted to convert to an office area. The desk was delivered in the time promised and the fitting team were very efficient and tidy. The desk looks fab and is a vast improvement to my work from home environment. I would happily recommend their products to anyone looking to improve home working space

This company sell really great products but they are subject to very long delivery times. I ordered their Rochester bookcase and after I bought it was informed of delivery times that way exceeded those advertised of 12-14 weeks. They refused to give any discount for a 4-5 month delay in delivery so I cancelled the order. If you're prepared to wait that long, then go ahead and buy something—otherwise I would shop elsewhere. It's a shame because they make such beautiful products.
