I am very happy with my engraved slate house sign. Christian was very obliging and produced a sign using the type face that I selected. The sign was to the the size requested and finished to a high standard. I can recommend The Oak and Stone Company for a good quality house name sign at a reasonable cost.

I ordered 2 custom size Cotswold stone date plaques for two house extensions. One arrived with a crack so Dave very kindly sent a replacement free of charge. I was able to choose the font & style I wanted. The colour & finish are as per the website photos. The price was very reasonable & I would definitely recommend the oak & stone company.

I contactee these guys for the first time a week ahead of Christmas for a Derbyshire peak district millstone style house plaque. I really didn't think they would be able to turn things around in time for Christmas. I accepted this because I had basically left things far too late (as per usual!)
They correctly interpreted my online instructions and sent me a proof image with my lettering - just how I wanted. This is useful reassurance when your lettering are being carved into stone. Knowing that delivery would be difficult I asked if I could pick it up - which was handled very efficiently.
When it was ready for collection - three days earlier than expected and in Christmas week, I was delighted. I also got a photo of the completed project. Again, a useful level of reassurance.
Really efficient, much cheaper than I expected, and great finished product. I can't honestly say I'll be using them again very soon. How often do you need a new millstone style door plaque?! But I can certainly recommend them to my friends, family, and you guys.
(I cropped my photo so as to exclude the postcode which I had also specially requested on the lower half on the millstone)

Very high quality craftsmanship and very reasonably priced - would definitely recommend for engraved stonework. Responsive and helpful with arranging for a specific date delivery for the item too.

We had an issue with a damaged delivery (through no fault of the Oak & Stone Company) and they were really helpful, responsive and accommodating with resolving the issue.
