A congenial place and a great promenade for a walk. Good mornings from passerby, hellos from the doggies, and the sun, and sea ..and seals means the best kept secret in the northeast... not anymore

Today, I walked from Tynemouth to Whitley Bay, it was great. It was such nuce change after the cold weather!
The sun was out, it was breezy but warm compare to the week before.
It's a good, not difficult & to add to it lovely views.
When, you arrive in Whitley Bay, you can have a lovely cake & a hot drink in Valerie's tea room, lovely & worth the effort.

Absolutely beautiful area to come for a walk of any length. It is clearly suffering from recent weather events with lots of debris and fallen fences so caution is required when walking around at the moment. Can see some lovely sunsets if you plan your trip right too.

What a lovely place to watch the sea!!

Be careful not to stand too close to the edge otherwise you might come a cropper to the fierce sea and the perils of Mother Nature!

Enjoy the sea and respect her power!!

Enjoy the video till the end!

It’s hard to really appreciate an area when the weather is dire but we didn’t take to the Promenade on this occasion - felt a bit dated and scruffy - but on a warm sunny (windless!) day it may have a totally different feel / appeal.
Sorry.
