I want to leave a review about an employee who works in a costumer service, a woman of 60-70 years old, I think if I’m not mistaken, the name is Debbi, short hair, dark hair she large , I had to deal with her twice, once I bought Christmas lights and half the light bulbs didn’t work when I arrived to return them, she began to tell me that she would not accept them since I plugged them into the socket, I wonder how I was supposed to check their condition without plugging them into the socket? I had to argue with her for a very long time to return them to the store, the second experience I came to return the two shelves that I bought, I didn’t damage the packaging, everything was fine, she accepted them but returned me a completely different amount of 6.99 less, which I I immediately told her about her mistake, she tried to make me out in front of all the customers as a stupid emigrant who didn’t understand how she spoke, although I spoke English and with an accent, but in English and not in any other language, she began to cling to my son why he jumps to make him calm down, then they called me rude, although she has problems with communication, I didn’t argue with them anymore, I just returned another day to another employee who was very polite and for some reason understood my English and my accent, employees like her should not work with costumers, she should work in a warehouse so as not to communicate with people, she ruins the store's reputation

Staff are rude and very unprofessional
Especially the woman always on the big till/desk. With glasses brown hair looks and me and my children like dirt! She was very rude me when she served me as I walked away she mumbled words about me. I still go here but iv always refused to be served by her
You work at the range woman your no better than me
Infact she needs to be retrained in customer skills and being polite to her customers

I would like to leave a review for one of your employees, I'm sorry I didn't catch her name, dark hair, petite and had a Welsh accent I think! She was so professional and smiled through our whole interaction, as soon as she saw i was waiting to pay she opened a till up for me. It's so nice to see someone who genuinely looked like she was enjoying her job! I always have a great experience at this store but she really stood out this time so wanted to give her some recognition 🙂

It is a very versatile store, supplying a great range of products. Most of the staff are great, especially a lady called Lyn, and an older gentleman, most of the younger staff, and the store manager. However, some of the older staff (particularly a rotound lady with brown hair and glasses) could demonstrate a little more customer courtosy and spit out the wasp she's been chewing on. Also, the queues could be shortened if the staff had less chatter and more focus, poor Lyn working hard on the till while the same lady mentioned above is having a laugh and chat. Queue efficiency may encourage more customers to pop in quickly rather than the current experience of a long wait.

We went into the range on Friday the 18th of October 2024 to get three fence panels. The lady in the shop told us to put them on a normal shopping trolley, obviously this is not possible. Being pregnant and with our toddler I couldn't help physically, therefore, my husband had to carry the fence panels through the shop one at a time. He put them in a place near the tills to pay for them and the lady told him to put them out of the way before loading them into our trailer, because of health and safety, before the boss saw. Very unhelpful. Surly if you are selling a product you should have a way of transferring it from the shop to your vehicle.

If you don't have your receipt then The Range are a nightmare,
I had misplaced mine (I usually hoard my receipts) only The Range sell this particular window blind that I wanted. (it's a very small window) and they would not let me swap the item for the next size.
I was offered to produce a bank statement to them to show proof of purchase ....DOH! Because that tells you what I've purchased doesn't it ?

I get that the staff have to make sure that they are not getting conned, But if they had just looked at the product they would have seen it was theirs.

Come on The Range, get a bit of common sense would you!
