We had a wonderful time at The Relais in Henley on Saturday, celebrating my son's 21st birthday. The most beautiful venue, an oasis of calm, with beautiful river views. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and the level of service was excellent. Alex and his team made sure the day went really smoothly and i cant thank them enough. Highly recommend and we will certainly be back soon! Thank you!

I took my friend here for the afternoon tea experience in aid of her birthday. Upon arriving to the venue which was surrounded by wonderful views of the water i was really pleasantly surprised by how quaint the place was. Received a friendly welcome and our coats were taken which showed the level of service to expect. The decor of the hotel is so tasteful and beautiful. Me and my friend lucked out with having the space to ourselves which was great. A really lovely touch that was done by the hotel was that they played a birthday tune for my friend which i did not even ask for. The staff was attentive, friendly and well informed. Everything was spot on, service, food, halal chicken, was not only great quality but really good value for money. We relaxed and spent lots of time there without feeling rushed and our tea pots topped up and doggy bags arranged. If i have any constructive feedback it would be that they could offer more range of teas and maybe the pots could be smaller as then refilling them more frequently for hot tea would be easier.

Fully recommend this place. Was a great day and my friend absolutely loved it. Will be coming back soon and recommending to all my family and friends. Thanks alot Relais staff.

This is a sublime hotel at the best spot in Henley, with professional and kind staff making sure guests are happy and feel at home. I've booked the hotel for my friend who stayed repeatedly in Nov 2024 and I personally met the staff and made the booking at the hotel. Everyone kind, welcoming, professional. Also the little cafe right at the entrance of the hotel is providing a nice atmosphere and tasteful snacks / coffees. Well done, hospitality is not an easy business but you are doing a fantastic job. Thank you.

Great location, superb service and what a nice shower!!

I loved my stay at the Relais. The welcome was extremely warm and so kind. I was shown around and they even shared some recommendations for food. Will definitely stay there again whenever in Henley.

The staff did an incredible, festive table and decorated private dining room for our annual girls lunch. The service was friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent. We are all thinking up reasons to celebrate, so we can do it all again!

Truly excellent experience. This hotel is right in the centre of Henley on Thames, and my room had a view of the river (albeit through a small and high up window). It has obviously been recently kitted out with a huge amount of care and attention. I had a single room, but it was comfortable and didn't feel at all cramped. It had the period charm but the modern conveniences you'd expect. I'd happily stay there again. The only slightly less than exceptional part of the stay was the breakfasts. These were fine, but not as great as the rest of the experience. Overall not a huge minus, but I might pop to one of Henley's numerous other breakfast options next time.

While I only stayed one night at The Relais Henley, it was by far my favorite place to stay while traveling in the UK. My room was quite large, and the beds incredibly comfortable. My favorite was the pair of chairs to read a book or catch up on local news. The staff was gracious and thoughtful, and I thoroughly enjoyed each conversation. My next trip abroad I plan on staying at this little gem, but a few more days. 🌺

I really enjoy staying at PoB hotels as I can always expect high class service and the rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable. Relais Henley did not disappoint, we had a warm welcome, bed was very comfy, great shower in the en-suite. We were lucky to get a parking space as there are only a few available at the hotel. Breakfast menu was great and staff was very accommodating to my requests. Coffee was very good. Location is superb, right on the river which adds to the charm of the place.
