Enjoyed this little shop. Nice selection and good price range of gifts. We didn't end up buying too much (limited luggage space) but there were many tempting items.

The two young girls working weren't exactly sales people, but they were quick and polite. Perhaps a bit shy yet!

Would certainly reccomend checking this one out.

A great place if you want pretty, unique but also useful Scottish gifts or souvenirs. The shop owner was helpful and I found several lovely things that weren’t touristy. Cute stuff for kids and adults, and some beautiful prints of the highlands.

Rudest lady ever. Came in to browse and she was watching me like a hawk like she had already determined I was trouble. Tried to take a picture for my dad and got yelled at. I stopped and apologized but she wouldn’t have it. It’s a cute shop but I don’t want to think of her when looking at my souvenirs so I walked out and gave my money over to nicer people.

I had my gloves stolen earlier today so I came in here to find a new pair, when the shopkeeper made smalltalk I mentioned that I was replacing my stolen gloves, and to brighten my day the lovely shopkeeper was kind enough to give me my new pair for half price!

We were in this shop today, we found the woman very unwelcoming, when we went to the till to pay our items she carried on talking to a local and didn’t even look our way. After 5 minutes we returned our items and left. Not a way to run a business, however we went into another shop just around the corner where the staff were very welcoming and so friendly, ended up buying the most beautiful painting.

Extremely rude and terrible employee.
I went in and the shop rule said 4 people per time so I waited outside but few more people went in.
After a while few people left, so it seemed like there were less people in the store. I stood at the door and was about to enter when an employee with a blonde pixie cut stopped me. She raised her voice at me saying that “only 4 people inside”. So I waited outside, then more people came out (assuming the shop had less people by now).
I stood at the entrance once again and I saw people coming out (about 3 people). This time she really raised her voice (almost yelled) saying “I have 6 customers inside, only 4 people at a time”. Mind you I couldn’t really hear her because I was outside and she was at the cashier. I was confused as well since I believed it was supposed to be 4 people, how did it reach to 6 plus I kept seeing people leave.

Now what angered me really badly: My friend was in the store when this was taking place, she heard the lady say something along the lines “people from abroad don’t know how to wait” to one of her customers. I was baffled when I heard this, you work in a souvenir shop where your main audience will be foreign tourists and you would say such things to another customer?
Moreover, I couldn’t hear what she was saying cause she was wearing a mask and the distance was rather large. If you have something against “people from abroad”, you’re working at the wrong job.

Absolutely do not reccomend this place unless you want to be yelled at. The shop itself is really nice and has lots of great items. I saw a lovely magnet I wanted so I ended up buying it but this negative experience made me regret it.
