The returns policy is shocking. If you can't get back within a week to return a garment or a gift, then you get a credit note. The problem is that the credit not also has an extremely short shelf life - 28 days. If you're not local you can't use it. You lose your money.
I returned an item outwith the one week as my husband has snapped his Achilles Tendon and it was the Queen's funeral. I then had to buy something immediately as I couldn't return to Kinross within 3 weeks. I was forced to buy something from the shop when the stock was low. Very few items were available in my size, even after the assistant looking for cashmere jumpers less than size 40!
My returned dress cost £40, I spent £95 on a jumper I didn't need because the selection was so poor. I had hoped to use the credit note later in the year but had to use within one month.
Appalling service to customers. I have bought many jumpers and gifts there over the years. Not now. Totally inflexible conditions of sale.
