I would seriously reconsider actually trusting TrustATrader their name is literally misinformation at this point. Personal experience with a roofing company in particular means I will never trust their website again. Absolute cowboys that are apparently vetted by TrustATrader, dug a little deeper and if you check websites like MSE you will see that bad reviews on TAT lead to an investigation where they completely side with the trader and do everything in their power not to post the bad review. So TrustATrader as you don't allow real reviews of the traders on your website you're going to get it on here instead. They offered absolutely no support about the dire experience I had, they will ALWAYS side with the Trader as they get paid by them to appear on their website. TAT are happy for anyone with any history to enter your home. Avoid.

I thought I would explore the option of my company being on TrustATrader. The account manager that called was rude to my staff calling them a liar and a gatekeeper. Not impressed. Won't be using them if this is how they do business.

I employed the services of South London and Kent Tree Services Ltd on the 9th and 10th of September for the removal of a very large dead Surrey Cherry tree and a small Crab Apple tree. Additional work included reductions in size of an apple and a walnut tree, trimming of two siver birch trees, Multiple large bushes were also trimmed. The team consisted of six men who all worked hard on the trees and at the end cleared up the whole site in an exemplary manner. I was delighted with the care and expertise shown by the team and I would definitely employ the firm again in the future.

I was asked to review a recent job done on my roof. I was happy to help as looking for someone I felt I could trust to do the work and charge fairly was hard, eventually I was lucky to get a recommendation from a friend. Trustatrader asked for a reference before the trader was able to register so if feels good that they take the time to ensure their recommended traders are worthwhile.

As a tradesman, they used to be really good; however, they have become problematic. They do not contact you about your direct debit or anything, then cancel your membership without communicating. I would seriously avoid them. You’re better off spending the money on lead generation, in my opinion. This service is all for the homeowner, with no support for the tradesman at all. I had a complaint where the customer had already paid and signed off on the job. Three months later, they went to the service to say they were not happy. I had to pay back £1400 just because they advised me to, or I would not be able to trade on their site. Shambles.

Honestly the worst thing you could do for your business is trust in trustatrader to bring you leads. It’s all about making excuses about needing to ‘up the portfolio and gallery and reviews’ to essentially spin the fact you have no leads after 7months of being with them. So disappointed in investing in them. I haven’t even heard from them in months and I’m a member still, thankfully it’s ending soon. I took a gamble and sadly they did not support a female roofer at all. I explained that it was hard enough competing in a male dominated industry and they provided f all to help and wish I had never bothered. They happily took my £1k and didn’t care about me at all…. The last email I received from them was in March and that’s when I vocalised I was struggling with leads and asked to cancel and they kept my money but terminated the contract short. But didn’t want to still try and help me despite the fact I still paid.

DSD Services. We have just had DSD Services fit our new fascia’s, soffits & guttering. I honestly can’t thank them enough. Dave Shimmon came out to see what was needed to be done and he was absolutely brilliant. Professional, warm, friendly and knowledgeable. His team turned up on time and worked so hard, literally nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a first class service from them, they took all of the old waste materials away and left everything so clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this business to anyone including my friends and family. 5 Stars ⭐️

Silverwood Construction (Cambridge)Ltd renewed my patio, the entire experience was very satisfactory. They established what I required, gave a competitive quote and carried out the work to a high standard. They were polite and respectful and I felt comfortable leaving them with access to the house when I was out.
