Sold me a 12kw Solar system saying they would do all paper work

Didn’t fit what they quoted

Shocking workmanship, meters fitted backwards, not wired up properly (there’s an extensive list)

Forged documents to national grid for a 3.9kw system - 7months AFTER installation

You are not allowed a 12kw system without prior consent

Left me up sh!t creek without a paddle essentially

Asked for a refund . . . No response!

Looked into sueing them but possibly not worth the upfront costs, so will report to governing body for now - hopefully they will soon be shut down

Fantastic service from day 1, very competitively priced, panels fitted within a week and up and running in 2 weeks. The installation teams were professional and tidy and no complaints. The projection they sent before install was spot on, they estimated 4.2kw generation and I have hit that twice already in the first week.

Me and my partner have had 16 solar panels all along our roof as well as an air source heat pump and battery. We both absolutely cannot fault them at all. The service that they have provided is excellent and we will definitely be returning to purchase more solar panels. We are thrilled with the efficiency of the solar panels and while we were originally concerned over the appearance, they look really smart and subtle. 14 Black Panels, 5kwh Hybrid Inverter and a 6.5kwh battery. There were many issues during my time with Turbine Energy but they did eventually come up trumps and sorted every issue I raised with them. A neighbours installation was totally trouble free. However a friend they did work for was also a bit of nightmare. Again all issues were eventually resolved. They are let down by some terrible electricians only to be redeemed by some fantastic ones. It's just a shame they don't always send the fantastic ones. It would make them a really great company with very competitive pricing.

This company was subcontracted by True Solar (a now defunct company, then run by moneylenders).
The job was completed in one day, with 22 solar panels and 2 batteries. It was powered up on the same day and has functioned well since. Due to the cessation of True Solar, Turbine Energy were a great help in completing the lengthy process of getting approval to feed the grid with my excess energy.
I recommend them for assistance throughout.

This is a deceitful company. Strongly suggest you avoid at all costs. After arranging a no commitment quote I was asked to pay up-front for an energy survey to establish the viability of an air source heat pump. I was initially asked to pay 30% of the total expected cost (Yes insane!) and after refusing he dropped the price to £250. He did however assure me that this would be fully refundable should I not go ahead with the installation. After reviewing the cost benefit of the installation it became apparent that this solution would not be viable however Turbine Energy then refused to refund the £250 as agreed. Crooks - avoid at all costs.

Turbine Energy staff gave efficient service at every stage. Prompt answers to questions, clear guidance through a structural hitch in our home. Re-scheduling ‘not a problem.’ Each specialist team a pleasure to meet, clearly know and support each other.
