Rude Staff. Attempted to kick 2 studying teenagers out because apparently our food “smelled”. It had nothing on it that would make it smell at all. They told us to stop eating and we did. We attempted to move to the cafeteria area after being told we couldn’t eat where we were sitting. They then proceeded to come up to us again and told us to flat out take it away because you could smell it across the whole library. Please get a grip x

I spent £35 on a document to be printed. I print previewed and it was fine. I printed it and it was all over the place. I told them this and they said there was nothing they could do. It was my fault it hadn't printed correctly. That is £35 down the drain and nothing they can do about it. They won't reprint it or give me a refund even though it was their printer that mucked it up. I just had to bin the documents that I printed. What a waste.staff member was very rude to my brother and I as well and my brother volunteers there once a week.

I joined to be able to access the study areas as I'm doing an OU course. I turned up to collect my membership card from the very helpful staff, on Christmas lights switch on day, to find that they were offering free coffee, hot chocolate and mince pies to everyone. The place was buzzing with kids reading books, students studying and people in reading the papers and l accessing archived. Lovely warm, welcoming atmosphere and I got loads of studying done.

Had a good look around. I was looking for a computing book on windows 11. Never saw one. as it was nearly closing time l left it till next week to check the library book catalogue. The librarian on duty was very nice, helpful and social to all. A quick visit.

Very poor access from the disabled car park to the entrance in a manual wheelchair. I needed assistance from a kind gentleman to push me up the hill. Astonishingly I discovered that the community hub was closed from 9am to 1pm and even then by appointment only. All correspondence in letters etc doesn't show this correction. Staff I found were extremely helpful in the processing of my blue badge to save me the hassle of having to come back. Kudos ladies you know who you are. Please East Dunbartonshire Council get your act together, in this supposedly relaxation in COVID what is wrong here. It's shocking to turn people away who make such huge efforts to come down, but can't complete simple transactions.

Nice bright airy space where you can sit down and study or work on your laptop, staff are always very friendly and helpful, if the lending library doesn't have the book you are looking for, they will either request it from another library or they are happy to put in a purchase order for the book if it isn't on their index for all local libraries 👍🏻 5*

I see that this is not the first review about arrogant staff in the library. On 14 march I had similar experience with arrogant woman at check in desk at the library . Most in treating was that customer service woman was next to her and she did nothing to make the experience better. Library looks great but with employees like that should get retrained on customer service or fired.

Always very helpful staff, who are more than happy to help with ordering a book in if they don't have it in stock 👍🏻😁
