I was really surprised to read the bad reviews about the staff, because both times I visited, they were lovely to my dog and me and helped me select the appropriate fudge. I really liked the caramel and almond. Pity they were out of clotted cream, except in boxed form. I guess they read the reviews and listened!

Well curated, and the prices are fair. There's a good mixture of typical tourist wares and some handmade Pembs bits and pieces. As a little girl, on holidays in the 80s, I used to love looking round this shop. It felt like being inside a treasure trove 💜 It's stood the test of time.

Attended to by a very pleasant & helpful staff member, who steered me in the right direction for a gift. A last minute gift hunt because Chocolate shop was still closed! Thank you WoW you were a life saver & at reasonable prices. As a local, should really stay local.😊

I bought two gifts from this shop and they were good quality and price. However I would like to give the more mature shop assistant the benefit of the doubt, and perhaps she was having a bad day, but if you are not keen on tourists perhaps choose another career. A friendly response makes customers feel welcome.

The two women on the counter were lovely, stroke up a conversation with my chatty grandma! Lovely little trinkets.

the lady that ‘greeted’ us at the St David’s shop was very rude. She insisted on my wife providing proof she is exempt and therefore not requiring a face mask. My wife corrected her by asking what proof she needs to which the lady abruptly replied “some people wear a lanyard’ - LIKE THAT IS PROOF OF ANYTHING!!!! You can buy those on eBay cheaply 😤 contemptible, ignorant and ill-advised!!

The rudest staff I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. Two older ladies who gave me horrible looks and were so aggressive towards me when I explained I have a medical exemption from wearing a face mask. Would not recommend shopping here, the worst customer experience.

Very few local Welsh products, lots of tat and incredibly rude staff who close the door in people's faces as though they can't see them through the glass. St Davids has much more to offer than this place.
