Good selection of shops here BUT the access to and from here is shockingly bad. I know that's not the retail parks fault but seriously, getting back onto the A30 is painful

On 19/12/2024 around 22:35 I was kicked out from Evyve charge point while I was charging my EV battery in Peel Retail Park Babilon Hill Yeovil car park by the staff of Securitas for the second time, this time in a very rude manner, threatened with closing the gate with me inside. After I have left the car park I stopped in the street to report to police and to owner of Evyve chargers and I was bullied by the same man to leave that street because it is private and threatened me with report regarding an imaginary fault that I commited in the carpark as a taxi driver who I am and he took picture of my plates. What fault could I have as a taxi driver while I charge my EV battery? I told him if it would be a program shown in the car park I would respect it, and I asked him where is written that the street is private and what is the reason for he kick me out from that street. I consider that if Securitas company keep this employee who made an abuse this prove it is wrong and not trustful. Now I'm afraid to use again that charge point even I had not any fault, due to that Securitas staff who bullied me and stressed me deeply. Someone have to take action not to happen something similar again

We went to Dreams to get a new mattress. We were helped by Emily, who was brilliant. She guided us through the process of choosing the right mattress for our needs without being pushy. She offered advice but gave us plenty of time to assess which one we wanted.

Good shops and lots of deals however,

When you are about to leave the traffic is an abomination, it backs the hole way up the road at times and grid locks, the main roundabout that is the only entry and exit point seems to always have traffic coming off it at speed meaning it is very hard to leave the shopping area, the local authority should consider having traffic lights installed for a safer controlled road environment.

Positives:

Car electric chargers are available
Abundance of parking
Parent and child parking widely available
Starbucks is a good size for refreshments
The area is clean and tidy
Parking is free!
The staff in the shops seem very helpful

Basically the same as any other Retail Park only 10 Serena of parking spaces near to the shops very very quickly on the disabled spaces a few and far between

3/4 times I go there the shelves are half full or empty anyway the waiting time to pay is great, they open tills as soon as+2in a queue on open ones. Tesco full shopping bag +£50, Asda+ Lidl(that went really bad lately)£35, same size, mostly the same items for one person for one week(ISH) Aldi £26!
